Located in Tuscany, just one hour from Florence, Il Borro is a perfect marriage of tradition and luxury in an enchanting corner of the Tuscan countryside.

Il Borro offers various types of accommodation from luxury villas to deluxe suites in the medieval village. Villa Il Borro, the most elegant (with 20 beds and indoor swimming pool), the more rural Chiocci Alto (a breathtaking view over the estate) or if a more modern style is preferred, Villa Casetta surrounded by Merlot vineyards. The 39 charming suites offer a welcoming ambience, where total relaxation encounters the simple luxury of bedrooms with a view over the Tuscan countryside and living rooms with a fireplace.

Evenings spent in the village enjoying pizza cooked in the centuries-old oven, visits to the craftsmen’s workshops and sipping a glass of wine in the Orto del Prete, are just some of the little pleasures that make time spent in the village unforgettable.

The estate also offers a series of outdoor activities, including mountain biking, trekking, horse riding, cultural tours of the art cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo, and cooking classes for both adults and children.

In addition to the luxurious Relais accommodation, there are 5 charming farmhouses. Located in the countryside surrounding the village, guests can experience the simplicity of rural Tuscan lifestyle, venturing into the Village as and when they like, as people used to do in the past. The farmhouses add a further 45 beds to the Relais’s 106.

Dimoro Il Borro is a 10 room villa equipped with a full staff, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness room, sauna, hunting room, billiards room, and 4 kitchens.

Villa Cassetta is a 3 bedroom villa located in the Merlot vineyards. It's just minutes from the main area but we recommend guests rent a car.

Art & Wine Tours are offered twice daily.

In the village are artisans who are experts in shoemaking, jewelry, pottery, photography, painting, and more.
