What continues to inspire or motivate you to work in the travel industry?
What motivates me the most is resilience of the travel industry. The ability to turn dreams into lifelong magical experiences through travel continues to inspire me. Despite all the adversities and hurdles our industry has endured, we have come back stronger because of our peers that stand strong within it, and I love being a part of this community. I especially enjoy curating special lifetime moments for a client which becomes an etched memory in their minds. I strongly believe that travel is a privilege and a gift that not many people get to experience. To me this is the key to enriching our souls to being better humans overall.

Which destinations do you love selling and why?
I love selling Asia! It’s a part of my DNA. I was born in Bombay. I grew up in Hong Kong and Singapore but lived my best life in New Orleans, New York and London and then finally ended up in LA. Having travelled all over Asia, it excites me to share all the unique experiences and cultural immersion the various destinations have to offer.

What is something that your peers may not know about you?
I travel for food. I love to cook and enjoy cuisines from all around the world. I have travelled to Bangkok for 24 hours just to eat at a bucket list restaurant.
What new skill or hobby did you pick up during the pandemic?
Golf was my new hobby that I picked up during the pandemic. I would say I can hit the ball straight most of the time and have managed to even get my first birdie beating my husband to it!

The B+M collection houses some of the best unique properties and DMCs globally. The team is incredibly helpful and their attention to detail makes us advisors look good in front of our clients. I love selling the Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa and Nayara Tented Camps to my clients.

Where are you traveling to next?
Singapore visiting my mum and Columbia for a dear friend/colleagues wedding.

What continues to inspire or motivate you to work in the travel industry?
I really love help people to go on incredible vacations. Whether it's a first "real" vacation, or the dream vacation, I absolutely thrive on helping find the places that I know they'll love to see and experience.
Which destinations do you love selling and why?
I like selling islands because everyone loves islands. It's always a happy place. No one ever returns from any island vacation unhappy.

What is something that your peers may not know about you?
I am a skilled sewer/seamstress. I've even made complete bridal party apparel, including the men’s ties.
What new skill or hobby did you pick up during the pandemic?
Becoming an actual travel advisor and not just one for my family. And It’s been a great adventure. I actually did have skills before, but now I’ve developed the real business acumen and relationships necessary to thrive in this industry.

I absolutely love the VIP Lounge. Having the opportunity to learn from great hoteliers andDMC’s in such an intimate setting, it’s absolutely great. I’m so glad to have been introduced to Bennett + Mercado!

Where are you traveling to next?
TI'm actually writing this on my way to Florence, Italy. I'll be there and around the Tuscan area and then to Venice. Next up is Dominica!
