One of my favorite hotels represented by Bennett + Mercado is the Jamaica Inn Ocho Rios, it is a magical place where one can totally relax in a  serene environment while lounging on the beach to the sounds of palms swaying in the breeze and lapping of the waves. Kyle Mais the General manager is friendly and personable so is the hotel ambassador “Shadow’ the black lab.

I have known and worked with The Bennett + Mercado Team for years, they have always been very supportive and helpful by going the extra mile for me and my fellow travel advisors making our job easier. 

Any words of encouragement for the travel industry community as we continue to ramp back up? 

This has been a challenging year for us all. Speaking for myself, I don’t know if I could have made it through without the support and connections we maintained throughout with our travel industry colleagues via the many zoominars, emails and phone calls. Talking with other agents we have seen business steadily increasing in the last month and I’m confident that when travel restrictions are lifted especially for Europe, we will see bookings soar and numbers exceeding those pre-pandemic. We survived this long and will continue to thrive as we are a unique and diverse community, let’s all continue to work together and support each other post-pandemic.
