SAN JOSE DEL CABO, Mexico (August 25, 2020) – Viceroy Los Cabos, the premier oceanfront resort located in the heart of San José del Cabo, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Bowling as Regional Managing Director. A world-renowed hotelier, Peter brings over 20 years of experience to his new role where he will oversee the stunning resort, while also providing operational guidance for Viceroy’s future growth in Latin America.

Peter joins Viceroy Los Cabos most recently from Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, where he served as Managing Director and played an instrumental role in the hotel’s successful 2017 opening. Prior to his new role at Viceroy, Peter’s professional history has spanned worldwide, holding Managing Director roles at One & Only Palmilla Los Cabos, Capella Pedregral Cabo San Lucas, and Jumby Bay Rosewood Antigua. Peter was instrumental in enhancing the global reputation of each of these resorts, and while under his watch, each property achieved number one ranking from Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure.

Viceroy Los Cabos is also thrilled to announce the appointment of two highly respected, innovative and exceptional sales leaders - Marta Hagan joins as Director of Sales and Marketing and Lorrianne Mesina as Director of Leisure Sales.

Marta joins Viceroy Los Cabos with over a decade of exceptional leadership and management experience, and will leverage her extensive knowledge to lead all sales, marketing, and revenue efforts for the award-winning resort, including creating and overseeing sales initiatives and infiltrating key markets. Prior to her role at Viceroy, Marta served as Director of Sales and Marketing for several notable hotels in Los Angeles, including Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, Hotel Figueroa, Hotel Erwin, Shore Hotel, The Standard Hollywood and Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Lorrianne joins Viceroy Los Cabos with an impressive travel and sales background, most recently serving as Regional Director of Sales & Business Development for Inspirato, a Coastline Travel Advisors Affiliate. Mesina has also held prominent leadership roles for several luxury hotel brands throughout the US and Latin America, including Mukul, Auberge Resorts Collection in Nicaragua, Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, and various Ritz-Carlton properties in Colorado, California and Nevada.
